I have just completed my undergraduate degree in pharmacy and received a first class honours from Ulster University. Studying at Ulster University allowed me to avail of some of the best teaching the UK has to offer, along with having some of the most beautiful scenery in the world on my doorstep. Ulster University allowed me to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes I needed to confidently start my pharmacy career.
After spending some time in hospital pharmacy during my undergraduate degree I knew I wanted to go down this career path. I now work as a pre-registration pharmacist in Craigavon Area Hospital, Northern Ireland.
I am halfway through my time in hospital and I have loved every second. Every day is varied and I have been able to put my learning into practice, daily. Working with a wide range of health care professionals from a range of different backgrounds has allowed me to grow and progress.
Pharmacy has allowed me to combine my love of science with my love of caring for people and I am excited about the career prospects ahead.
