Mairead Conlon

UCA-NI Representation Pharmacist

I have been a pharmacist for 19 years. I started my career in community pharmacy with a Saturday job, aged 15 and have never looked back. I have held positions in small independents and regional roles for large multiples and now use my experience to mentor and develop colleagues across the profession in NI.

The quality of care that our local community pharmacy teams deliver across NI, every single day to their patients, is second to none. I am proud to be a pharmacist in NI and I believe that as a profession we are moving forward with positivity, self-belief and great momentum.

Covid-19 has shown that we can evolve and adapt and use our skills and knowledge to champion the health and wellbeing of the people of NI.

As a pharmacist in NI, there are so many opportunities. You will be well supported by your peers and will be provided with the opportunity to train and learn from the very best, most committed pharmacists across the country.
